Trichogramma to protect crops

In Québec, the corn borer is sweet corn’s number one enemy. Several pesticide applications may be required to keep damage at acceptable levels. However, over the past twenty years some growers have turned to the trichogramma wasp instead to protect their cornfields against the corn borer.
