Dan Zegan has over 38 years of experience in the areas of mechanical engineering and agri-environmental process engineering. He holds a bachelor's degree and master's degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for 7 years at Envirogain as a project manager. For 5+ years at the start of his career he worked in the private sector in Europe as a research assistant, project manager, and lecturer in mechanical engineering, and managed scientific research and experimental development projects. Dan joined IRDA as a research assistant in 2007 and has held the position of technology transfer officer for the past two years. He assists with the dissemination of IRDA research results to farmers in the form of technical documentation (data sheets, guides, and manuals) and is involved with transfer activities for marketing partners, developers, and investors.
